The Smart Edge Controller is the control centre of the system. Its built-in touchscreen shows barn conditions and lets you switch fans on and off, change speeds and build automatic running strategies. A strategy can be based on temperature or THI: set a stop value and a full-power value, and the controller ramps the fans up and down between them on its own, through the day and night. Fans are connected over an RS485 bus and found by automatic scan, so commissioning is a matter of taps rather than programming. The IP66 enclosure with a transparent window is made for dusty, damp barn conditions.
Local touchscreen operation — no PC or phone needed at the barn
Automatic strategies based on temperature or THI; gradual speed ramping between stop and full-power values
One controller manages around 50 devices; groups of fans open, close or re-speed together
Fan search over RS485 (Modbus addresses 1–64) with a scan report of found / planned / missing devices
Environmental data (temperature, humidity, CO2, light) shown as cards on the home screen
IP66 enclosure, V0 flame-retardant housing, transparent front window
